Diane M. Byrne – Megayacht News
For many years, Diane Byrne and I worked together on the team at Power & Motoryacht magazine. At the time, we had two megayacht themed issues: “The World’s 100 Largest Yachts” and “America’s Top 200 Yachts.” Aside from compiling all the information for those annual issues, which was no easy task, she also wrote columns and was our resident expert on all matters pertaining to large yachts. We lightheartedly called her our “Megayacht Queen” and she fit the bill. Smart, extremely knowledgeable, especially regarding big boats, the yards that build them, and the who’s who of their rarified ownership, Diane earned her title.
Today, Diane runs Megayacht News, an informative, independent digital media outlet that focuses on American luxury yacht owners and buyers of boats 80 feet (24 meters) and larger. If you are interested in the megayacht/superyacht market, Megayacht News publishes original content on this interesting segment at the pinnacle of boat ownership. Diane and her team deliver stories on the latest yachts, the yards that build them, designers, and cruising destinations, including premier marinas that cater to large yachts and their owners.
