Best4Boats at the BWI Awards — Live from Miami
Best4Boats is proud to share some good news from the 2026 Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show.
Both Best4Boats editor Norris Comer, and Publisher Arnie Hammerman were awarded at the Boating Writers International writing contest this year at their annual meeting in Miami.
Among four total awards he won, editor Norris Comer earned an Award of Merit for the All About Albacore series, a deep dive into Pacific Northwest albacore fishing that combines technical expertise with authentic on-the-water storytelling. Well deserved.
Publisher Arnie Hammerman was also recognized in this year’s competition, a reflection of the editorial standards and vision he brings to Best4Boats.
“Seeing Norris honored for the Albacore series is a highlight of our first year,” said Hammerman. “We set out to bring serious, on-the-water journalism to this space, and this recognition tells us we’re on the right track.”
The recognition comes just after Best4Boats marked its one-year anniversary in January, making this early national acknowledgment even more meaningful.
Both are currently on the ground in Miami, walking the docks, stepping aboard the newest models, and evaluating the latest in hull design, propulsion systems, and marine electronics. Their firsthand coverage of the show’s biggest debuts is already underway.
