Bow lounge with a view, Sea Ray SLX 360 Outboard

Sea Ray, one of America’s most prolific powerboat builders, debuted their new Sea Ray SLX 360 Outboard at this year’s Miami International Boat Show. Engineers at Brunswick (NYSE: BC) apparently have been busy designing and executing new models as this is the fourth new boat we got aboard this year in Miami from one of their brands. (Boston Whaler 330 & 280 Outrage, and Navan T30)
SLX is Sea Ray’s luxury line and the SLX 360 hosts multiple comfortable seating areas, including a recessed bow lounge forward, a sunpad aft, and sleeping accommodations with stand-up headroom in the head below.
Triple Mercury® 300HP V8s standard, or optional 425HP Verado® V10 outboards, deliver cruising speeds over 30 mph and top speeds over 50 mph. Joystick piloting makes docking easy as does a designated fold out fender storage bin.
Under the hard top, the helm has twin Navico MFDs which not only provide navigation information but utilize the Fathom system to control the electrical system and monitor the Lithium batteries. This includes running all systems including air conditioning off the batteries and auto charging them off the outboards, no generator necessary.
A unique feature I have not seen before are hull windows in the bow lounge area that let you see the water while you cruise. They are above the waterline and are a fun way to watch the water as it sweeps by underway. Aft, an engineered swim terrace door also provides further connectivity and improved access to the water.
MSRP “Starting at:” $586,000
