Jimmy Buffett’s Legacy of Ocean Conservation

On September 1, 2023, Jimmy Buffett passed on to the Margaritaville in the sky. To commemorate this day, I wrote a story for US Harbors talking about Jimmy’s contributions not just to music and the parrot head lifestyle but to ocean conservation. Not just a crooner, Jimmy was a passionate boater and writer who dedicated his life to helping preserve ocean habitats, plants, and animals.
