Krogen 60 Open

Krogen 60

Pretty much every long-distance motor cruising fan has a sweet spot for Kadey-Krogen Yachts. The legacy American motor trawler builder stays true to its heavy duty, go-the-distance roots with their new Krogen 60 Open. Want proof? The manufacturer reports a 5,367-mile range at a 6-knot cruising speed, 1,760-mile at 9 knots. You top off these tanks and you’re crossing oceans. A reasonable 5’8” draft should also allow access to those tucked away coves and lagoons once you get to the other shore.

The new Krogen 60 Open continues the Open series concept of the brand. This popular layout variation emphasizes seamless joining of the pilothouse and salon-galley. At the time, this was a departure from the classic Kadey-Krogen layout that kept the pilothouse elevated and separate.

Pretty much everything about a Kadey-Krogen is about comfortable living and long distances. The Krogen 60 Open appears to be no exception including a large flybridge and standing engine room. A palatial master suite provides home like comfort. Wing stations complete with thruster controls make docking easy. There appears to be all the quality-of-life goodies aboard and exploring the Krogen 60 Open at Palm Beach should be almost as fun as make a crossing aboard her.
