Series Connection for higher voltages: Can be connected in series to deliver higher voltage up to 48 volts. Higher voltages allow some equipment like Air Conditioners and electric fin stabilizers to be operated directly off the batteries.

New high-tech batteries like the Mastervolt MLi 12/1250 deliver more, but all those benefits come with a premium price point.
