Set Sail This Spring: April & May 2025 U.S. Boat Shows
With boat season upon us in the United States, several shows are worth checking out in April and May. These events offer the chance to explore various vessels, talk with industry professionals, and enjoy many marine-related activities.
Bay Bridge Boat Show at Safe Harbor Narrows Point – Grasonville, Maryland
The Bay Bridge Boat Show runs from April 11–13 at its new Safe Harbor Narrows Point location in Grasonville, Maryland. The spring powerboat show marks the beginning of the boating season on the Chesapeake Bay. Attendees can explore over 250 new and pre-owned powerboats, participate in on-water demonstrations at the expanded PropTalk Demo Dock, and enjoy educational seminars. There’s no shortage of great places to eat near the show—eight restaurants are just a short walk away with even more waterfront dining options nearby. You’ll also find four hotels in the area that makes staying close to the action easy. Plus, with over 1,000 parking spots within a mile and a convenient shuttle service, getting there is a breeze.
Boats Afloat Show – Seattle, Washington
The Boats Afloat Show is back at South Lake Union in Seattle, April 25–27! Hosted by the Northwest Yacht Brokers Association, this year’s event will showcase an exciting mix of boats in all shapes and sizes. Whether you’re a seasoned boater or just curious, you’ll find plenty to explore—from the latest in boating tech to free seminars, live music, and fun for the whole family. In a Boats Afloat first, the event has expanded to include in-water displays at H.C. Henry Piers, now easily accessible from the main show area.
Suncoast Boat Show – Sarasota, Florida
The 43rd annual Suncoast Boat Show runs from April 25 to 27 at Marina Jack in Sarasota. The show spans 65,000 square feet of dock space and features a variety of vessels from motor yachts and sport fishers to inflatables and kayaks. In addition to boats, attendees can explore tents filled with marine electronics, accessories, clothing, jewelry, and art. The event also includes kid-friendly activities like Kids Fishing Clinics with Captain Don where kids can learn about different species and fishing techniques.
Newport Beach International Boat Show – Newport Beach, California
Returning to Lido Marina Village from May 1–4, the Newport Beach International Boat Show offers a reimagined vision of the yachting world. The event will feature over 200 vessels, including recreational watercraft and large luxury yachts. Attendees can enjoy live entertainment and immersive activations while exploring both on-land and on-water exhibits. The show’s setting allows visitors to browse trendy boutiques and sponsored lounges, dine at local restaurants, and capture the essence of Newport Beach’s elevated lifestyle.
Anacortes Boat & Yacht Show featuring Trawlerfest – Anacortes, Washington
Scheduled for May 15–17, the Anacortes Boat & Yacht Show, in partnership with Trawlerfest, will feature over 200 new and pre-owned boats. The event features informative seminars for new and seasoned boaters, various marine products and services, and rendezvous-style evening events. Attendees can also participate in Trawlerfest seminars from May 13–17 with topics covering different aspects of boating and maritime education.
